Diosdado Cabello: Spain has nothing to say about Venezuela’s internal affairs

The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, asserted this Wednesday that the Government of Spain has nothing to say about Venezuela’s internal affairs, since «our country is independent and stopped being a colony more than 300 years ago.»

He made these statements during his presentation at the World Congress against Fascism, Neofascism and Similar Expressions, which took place in Caracas with the participation of more than 95 countries.

In this sense, Cabello pointed out that Spain «wants to get involved in Venezuela’s internal affairs, they think we are a colony and they think they are an empire. We kicked them out of here 300 years ago and we are going to kick them out again every time they try to get involved in Venezuela, them or any other imperialist.»

Our country will count on the peoples of the world to continue the fight for its independence,” said Cabello, while rejecting the recent statements of the Spanish Congress against the decision expressed by the Venezuelan people on July 28, where they elected the head of state, Nicolás Maduro, as president again.

Government of the United States:

On the other hand, the first vice president of the PSUV also mentioned the Government of the United States (US) and pointed out that there are 50 million poor people in that country, due to a Government that does not take care of them.

For this reason, he rejected the interference of the North American empire against Venezuela, while recommending that the Government of that nation attend to its internal affairs: “Fix your problems, gentlemen of the United States, you have enough problems! You have pure misery, terrible social problems. 50 million poor people and there is no government that governs for the poor in that country.”

Finally, he stressed that the US government resolves everything with violence, «with bombs,» without caring about the integrity of the people.
