The forum “Intervention of the United States in the electoral system as a technique of the Coup d’ etat in Venezuela” headed by the permanent representative of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the United Nations (UN), Ambassador Samuel Moncada, was held this Friday, August 23, at the Bolívar Theater in the city of Caracas.
Moncada indicated, during the presentation, that the United States has not ceased in its objective of destroying the republican institutions of the country and consequently carrying out a coup d’état as in 2002.
He specified that the past electoral process “was only one stage of the coup d’état operation” because the “new stage is in development” and one must “think about defense and counterattack.”
“All these actions carried out in our country before, during and after the elections of July 28 have been proven in other countries around the world. Thus, they overthrew the Serbian nationalist Milosevic in Europe, and in Venezuela the coup d’état promoted by the United States has not stopped for years,” he said.
He also stressed that “behind ASTRA, Anonymous, Cyber Hunters, and other cyber terrorists is the American Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).”
He indicated that the entire framework orchestrated by the Venezuelan ultra-right opposition days before the presidential elections of July 28, one could see the joint work with organizations related to the US government, in order to position in Venezuela and the world, the false matrix of an overwhelming electoral victory by the former candidate, Edmundo González Urrutia.
