Within the framework of the 17th World Poetry Festival “Con el Río a la Espalda” (With the River on the back), in homage to writer Pedro Ruiz, this Wednesday, July 19 at 3:00 pm, the Government of Carabobo in coordination with the Ministry of People’s Power for Communication and Information will hold a poetry recital at the Casa Páez History Museum.

This great festival of the word began this Monday and will be celebrated throughout the national territory, between July 17 and 23 throughout the country, with the participation of more than 70 international writers and more than 200 national poets. Nathaly Bustamante, Secretary of Culture of the Regional Executive, stated that Carabobo state says “Present!” with this recital, in the majestic Salón del Sol of the Casa Páez History Museum.

She offered a welcome to the writers Nurduran Duman from Turkiye, Oscar Saavedra Villarroel from Chile, Khalid Raissouni from Morocco, Mónica Lucía Suárez from Colombia and Laura Antillano from Venezuela, “who captivated us through the beauty and richness of words made into poetry”, she stressed.
