The Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) ruled on the appeal filed by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, in relation to the electoral results of the July 28 elections.
In this context, the president of the Supreme Court of Justice, Caryslia Rodríguez, read the statement of the highest Venezuelan court in relation to the action filed by the national president, stating that the TSJ accepted the action of the appeal, in addition to taking actions to resolve the electoral situation that keeps the country attentive.
In addition, the magistrate of the TSJ summoned the 10 presidential candidates to appear before this instance and present their approaches or doubts about the process. This summons is for Friday, August 2, 2024, and everyone must be present.
This whole situation was generated by the attitude of candidate Edmundo González together with his representative and political activist María Corina Machado, who carry out actions to destabilize the country through calls to disown the election results, and also with the intention of creating some kind of parallel CNE.
