President Maduro honored Commander Chávez’s 70th birthday on the 4F barracks

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, attended the Cuartel de la Montaña (4F Mountain Barracks), in Caracas, in order to pay tribute and celebrate the 70th anniversary of the birth of Commander Hugo Chávez Frías.

On the 4F barracks he stated that Chávez has been the best President that Venezuela has had after the Liberator Simón Bolívar:

This is where we planted him, so that he would germinate strongly with his light, and here is the flag of the patriots, our Flag of Venezuela with its eight stars and the spirited white horse riding to victory. The voice of the people is heard because July 28 has arrived, election day and Hugo Chávez’s birthday. Free homeland, beautiful Venezuela that gave birth to our Commander Chávez. On a rainy day, the most beloved president in history after Simon Bolivar was born.”

President Maduro added that Chavez has been a giant of Venezuelan politics in more than a hundred years and with his birth came the 28th of July, election day, a day of battle like the Battle of Carabobo for the freedom of Venezuela straight to victory:

Today is a day of victory, of peace, of national independence, of tranquility, of the right to a future, of the new economy and of those who love Venezuela. Our Battle of Carabobo as a symbol of the fight for freedom and the 28th of July has arrived, the day of voting and hatred will not be more powerful than the right to peace, the right to love and the spirituality of a people who want tranquility and a Homeland with a future. Commander Chavez, happy and blessed day in your 70th birthday, today is your day, it is your victory and we are all prepared to vote with the flag of victory in hand, everyone to vote.”

Maduro reiterated that there will be peace, before, during and after July 28: “And so it will be, let there be peace and with your vote it was done. Congratulations Commander! We wanted to be here at the Cuartel de la Montaña to ratify our oath to and tell you: Your day has come, congratulations Venezuela, see you tonight to celebrate together-“, said President Nicolás Maduro Moros.
