With the aim of strengthening the empowerment of communal councils and communes, as well as leadership, democracy and the capacity of the People’s Power, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, ordered the immediate delivery of resources for the execution of the communal circuits of the country.
In this sense, he instructed the following:
1.- To deposit the respective resources to all communal circuits for the projects approved during the National Popular Consultation, held on April 21.
2.- To participate directly in the delivery of projects in the communities.
3.- Once the project approved by the communities is completed, “to finance the project that came second in the communal circuit elections.”
4.- To advance in the financing and development of economic projects so that the communities rescue their productive vocation.
On the other hand, he called for deepening the successful experience of the National Popular Consultation to provide accurate responses to the projects of organized communities.
He recalled that this consultation will be held “at least quarterly, which would lead to four communal elections per year, to choose the projects prioritized by the community itself and finance them directly.”
