Defense Minister G / J Vladimir Padrino López appealed to the international community to «come from all over the world to observe the dialogue processes in Venezuela and to cease the blockade and sanctions against the country.»
This was stated this Thursday in his intervention during a new journey of Mission Negro Primero, held at the headquarters of the 41st Armored Brigade located in Naguanagua, Carabobo state:
«We all want to live in a country where there are opportunities for development, not only personal but also collective,» said Padrino López, stressing that the revolutionaries «are clinging to the cause of Venezuela.»
He expressed that in the face of the conjunctures and aggressions that the Bolivarian Homeland has experienced, «A gale has already passed, and those who were not firm of conscience and conviction were blown away by the wind«.
“Those of us who are here are what are clinging to a lovely, beautiful, just cause, it is the cause of Venezuela, it is the patriotic cause, the same one of 200 years ago, it is the cause of Bolívar, of freedom, of justice, of republicanism, the cause that all men and women of the Armed Forces embrace”, he expressed.
During the activity, Minister Padrino López imposed the Armored Cross in his Only Class on the Commander of the ZODI Carabobo, VA William Bernardo Wesslossky Padilla and the commander of the 41st Armored Brigade, GB Rubén Belzares, among other officers and military personnel, as well as well as authorities of the Regional Executive, including the Secretary General of the Government, Jesús París Lara, the Secretary of Citizen Security, José Ávila, and the Secretary of Food Security and Agrarian Production, Alfonso Hernández Mújica.
Integration of peoples:
He highlighted the importance of unity among Venezuelans and the need for those who crave political power to put aside ambitions and lust for power, to side with the people and do the common good.
He also reiterated his message of support for the new rectors of the National Electoral Council, «and I wish them much success in doing their homework, a very important task such as the electoral system,» he said.
Gallery of the resistance:
Padrino López proposed the creation of a gallery in each military component to highlight the work of the Battalion Commanders who have resisted the economic war imposed against Venezuela, suggesting that this gallery be called «The Commanders in times of resistance.»
“Because you have to see what they have suffered, how much they have suffered, and what the Battalion Commanders have put forward to maintain their units, the power supply, in the meantime, so much aggression, this is where the true pilot of all this fight is: love for the homeland”, he stressed.
Endowment and equipment:
During the journey, Minister Padrino López delivered certificates of furniture endowment to the operational and administrative units of the Bolivarian Army, attached to the ZODI Carabobo.
The military units were also benefited with office supplies, electrical appliances, school supplies, computers, refrigerators, kitchen, air conditioning, washing machine, kitchen utensils, construction materials, maintenance and cleaning, and elements of improvement in the levels of well-being for military human resource.
