MP will investigate Orlando Avendaño for instigation of hate

The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, reported that will investigate “journalist” Orlando Avendaño for instigating hatred, and the 19th National Prosecutor’s Office was appointed, as indicated this Monday in statements to the press about new conspiracies that threaten peace in the country.

Saab explained that on March 5, Avendaño published the following message: “What María Corina is building transcends the electoral sphere. The mood around her is insurrectional. This is how it should be done so that there are free elections, it is not necessary to ask for them or seek them, but to impose them. For this, the organization, which is justified by the electoral scope.”

Therefore, the prosecutor pointed out that “this implies war, subverting order, it is the insurrectional plan, they reveal themselves,” and in another message “he rants and insults the State authorities, for this reason is being investigated this subject, who is wanted for the crime of inciting hatred.”

He highlighted, on the other hand, that Avendaño appears next to the former president of Colombia, Álvaro Uribe, in this regard, he noted: “(it’s) incredible, how they look for each other and get together. You have to have toxic blood to be with Uribe, because there are many Venezuelans who are half crazy, who go to Uribe to take a photo with him, as if it were a trophy. That is, from the way things are presented, the indication that they are up to something ugly.”
