Objective of imperialism has been to kick the table of dialogue in Venezuela

The objective of imperialism has been to kick the table of dialogue in Venezuela, as assured the Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza. Faced with this reality, he stressed on the persistence of President Nicolás Maduro to achieve advances towards a peace agreement with the opposition.

“If President Maduro were not so persistent, perhaps we would be trapped in the process of violence.”

During an interview on the “Con Amorin” (With Amorin) program broadcast by VTV, he denounced the possibility that the empire could influence the opposition to abandon the process of dialogue, knowing the intentions of the Government of that nation against the well-being of the Venezuelan people.

“Imperialism is death, and revolution and socialism are life, and we have to fight to fulfill our own”, he said.

Arreaza took the opportunity to criticize the sanctions issued by the European Union against Venezuela, which in his opinion lack any legal basis. Following this, he reported that the Bolivarian Government is preparing to take action against the organization. “The sanctions of the European Union have no legal basis, we are going to take action against them.”

The holder of the Foreign Relations portfolio repudiated the international campaign of various media, which act with the aim of showing a distorted reality of Venezuela, with the aim of promoting interventionist actions against national sovereignty.
