Chávez united the country in a national sentiment

Flores specified that the people, without knowing Commander Hugo Chávez, identified that what he was doing “was for the country and from there he united the country, Hugo Chávez united the country from the first moment he appeared on television, in those few minutes he united an entire country, it is a national feeling,” she reiterated.

For his part, the Venezuelan head of State and Government, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted that many came out to paint “Viva Chavez” (Long live Chávez) on the walls, an expression of support for the Commander, since “thousands of people did it on their own in all the streets.” “, of all the cities, of all the neighborhoods, that was the synthesis of what the people’s response was, of a unique historical movement,” he stressed.

“A unique feeling of a generation that rose on the basis of hope, years that are alive in the memory that mark the longest revolutionary historical cycle in the entire history of Venezuela,” he stressed, when recalling the events of February the 4th (1992).
