With more than 2 million registered volunteers, I have the proposal to form a great movement that will be the Great Volunteering for the future of Venezuela. Those who agree to join this future through the Seven Transformations, do so with the usual sign… The Great Volunteering for the future through the 7Ts is born!”. This was expressed by the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro Moros, this Tuesday when submitting to consultation the Great Movement of volunteers who will build the future of the nation in these 7 years towards the Bicentennial Year of 2030, and beyond.

“Let’s multiply the organization, let’s multiply the participation, in Venezuela we all need each other,” he called from the iconic tourist and historical area of Caracas, Los Próceres, (The Heroes Stroll) where the national leader presided over the first Meeting of Volunteers for the Seven Transformations and the balance of the popular assemblies held.

Governor Héctor Rodríguez, highlighted the presence of a small representation of the 2,057,960 Venezuelans and residents who registered in the 7T Route, in more than 4,500 communal circuits.

The head of state publicly commented that, since February 27, when he was urged to form this large volunteer group, he considered that if a million people signed up, it was a good number: “We’d go (in a) white horse, as they used to say back then, but more than two million volunteers have signed up to go out in Great Volunteering to defend the Seven Transformations and build the future. I thank those who have signed up!” he spoke, visibly moved.

Maduro insisted that this unprecedented participation should be multiplied from the bases of the Venezuelan people, and asked to invoke, convene and invite all the common Venezuelans of good, including Venezuelans who were born abroad and who have lived for decades on national soil:

“You only need to be from Venezuela or live in our homeland, greetings to the communities of brotherly peoples, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Syrian, Lebanese, Palestinian, Arabs in general; Colombians, Ecuadorians, Peruvians, Chileans, Haitians, from all communities in the world,” he explained.

He said that more than 10 million inhabitants in Venezuela are citizens of the world who live with us, and reiterated his proposal to all the inhabitants who share life in the country of Bolívar: “We are recipients of migrants, and if you are a man or a woman of good, who wants a better country, who dreams of a prosperous Venezuela, be welcome to the Great Volunteering for the Future, for the 7Ts, towards 2030.”

Subsequently, the Head of State swore in the community, municipal, state and regional promotional teams that will accompany him in the construction of the transformations of the future of Venezuela over the years until 2030 and beyond this historic date.
