Coro welcomes President Maduro with the conviction of continuing to build the Homeland

The sunset was the host of an illustrious son: Nicolás Maduro, rooted by his family to the soil of Coro, greets with his extended hand a people who, enthusiastically, longs to talk with their leader.

He wears an apple green shirt, a color associated with freshness and vitality, but also with the renovation that, precisely at this time, defines the path of the Bolivarian Revolution towards 2030. Patriotism is on the surface.

He shakes hands, exchanges smiles, and responds affectionately to the multiple “President!” cries that are heard as he passes by. Nicolás, accompanied by his faithful companion Cilia Flores, touches his heart, which is surely filled with pride at meeting once again with the people who have always, despite adversity, remained firm and loyal.

Escorted by iron horses, impossible to enumerate, he continues to salute, while with his other hand he firmly holds letters, messages, cries from ordinary men and women.

The banners clearly read “Welcome, President”, a welcome gesture that is appreciated with an immense shout of “Viva Coro!” that, at times, seems to be lost among the euphoric expressions of the sovereign who represents the vital force of the Bolivarian Revolution.

The sun is on his back. Nicolás, as is characteristic of his recent meetings with the People’s Power, sits on the vehicle that transports him to share much more closely with the immense tide that saw him coming.

He blows kisses into the air, asks about the children, worries that everyone is okay, turns a little to greet those who follow him. It is impressive the manifestation of affection that increases, at the same time that the path to his destiny is shortened.

Standing, staring at the faces of the people of Coro, some hidden behind mobile devices recording new memories. The blunt “They will not return! They won’t come back!” extends a few blocks beyond its location.

The scene seems like something out of a movie, a lot of souls surround him shouting “Let’s go Nico!” He can’t stop smiling, thanking the accompaniment of the true heroes of the relentless battle for the defense of sovereignty, of the right to be free.

What is evident there is a ratification of what the people have already expressed many times: Nicolás is their President, their leader of victories and the man who with daily dedication continues to build the Homeland.
