President Maduro: We are ready in May, June, July to go to elections

The extremist sectors “are moved by hatred, excessive ambition, the spirit of revenge” and in response to this, the Bolivarian Revolution must be prepared “to make us respect ourselves in the streets, with the people, with civil-military union.”

The statement belongs to the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, who reiterated that “it is time for the extreme right wing to learn to respect” and stop maneuvers to attack national stability.

We work prepared for any surprise, for any invention. I always tell the people – and it has gone well for us – in the face of any circumstance: Calm and sanity! Nerves of steel! Maximum unity and civil-military mobilization!” He declared when intervening in the mobilization called “Caravan of the Bolivarian Fury”, which ended in Miraflores Palace, located in Caracas.

In this sense, the Head of State addressed his message to the leaders who, historically, have been involved in conspiracies against national peace by asserting that “the team wins, and we are going to win by hook or by crook.”

This is about you (Leopoldo) López, this is about you (Henrique) Capriles, this is about you (María) Machado, this is about you (Antonio) Ledezma, this is about you (Juan) Guaidó: respect that, in the face of any invention, the people gets to the streets and defends peace, to triumph along the path of peace,” he pointed out, emphasizing that “on this side, the team always wins, and we are going to win.”

He emphasized that “we must be persevering, insistent because this is the path of the Homeland, the path of Hugo Chávez” and, along these lines, efforts must be aimed at the comprehensive recovery of the Welfare State.

There is no need to rest on our laurels. We must persevere on the path of the integral recovery of Venezuela, we must defend the right to peace, tranquility, and work in order to continue walking our path of building a new, non-dependent economic model that satisfies the needs of the people and generate wealth to recover the Social Welfare State,” he noted.
