President Maduro to followers of the disastrous Milei advice: “See yourself in the mirror of Carlos Andrés Pérez”

The Head of State recalled that there are those in Venezuela and in the world who say that Milei is the “leader” and the “Milei project is the project to bring to Venezuela”, which is why he invited those who consider it so, to “see themselves in the mirror of Carlos Andrés Pérez, and see themselves in the mirror of February 27 and 28, 1989. Venezuela was the first country that said to neoliberalism, to the single thought, in 1989 (…) it said no to the “neoliberal package “, no to neoliberalism, no to savage capitalism.”

He attributed this behavior to the admiration they feel for “countries like the United States where there is a strong State, strong laws. Milei goes to Davos city (Switzerland) to say that we do not have to pay taxes. You go to the United States and say you do not have to pay taxes! (You would go to) prison and the electric chair.”

“If someone in the United States says I don’t pay more taxes, I call for no more taxes (…) the FBI arrives within half an hour!” said the Venezuelan President.

In contrast, President Maduro said that a modern, decentralized State that takes into account the diversity of the regions and the strengths of that diversity is necessary, however, “that represents a country, that unites a country and is capable, through laws, to bring peace to a country, work, prosperity, progress, advancement.”
