Venezuela has 2,208 Productive Workers Councils

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, celebrated this Thursday that the country has 2,208 Productive Workers Councils (CPT).

“Blessed be the day that the idea, the proposal, the strength arose from the working class, we already have 2,208 CPTs”, he said during a special day with the CPTs of the prioritized sectors in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, which is affecting the humanity and the economies of the world.

The dignitary explained that the CPTs are distributed in the states Amazonas, Bolívar, Apure, Portuguesa, Barinas. Mérida, Táchira, Trujillo, Cojedes, Zulia, Lara, Falcón, Yaracuy, Carabobo, Aragua, Caracas, La Guaira, Miranda, Nueva Esparta, Sucre, Anzoátegui, Monagas and Delta Amacuro.

“This is the socialism of the concrete, of the constructive, the socialism of those who truly work”, explained the President, adding that the objective is the construction of the new economy through the CPTs found in all sectors. productive activities of the 15 Engines of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda.
