The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela announced the immediate activation of a preventive and corrective maintenance plan for all urban developments of the Great Mission Housing Venezuela (GMVV), which have been built and delivered for more than five years.
During a Housing Thursday event, he also reported on the formation in all urban planning of the Community Maintenance Brigades, so that “it is the power of the neighbor, the one that assumes this plan.”
The Venezuelan head of state called an assembly of the community maintenance brigades to “see the resources that we are going to inject as a government (…) what the National Bank of Housing and Habitat (Banavih) is going to inject”, and thus evaluate “where else do we get resources from”
The national president indicated that the objective is also to procure the materials that people require (to build their homes), in order to “start in the month of January (2024), in good shape, a general maintenance and repair plan” and so on. optimize all “the urbanisms that we have built”.
