Through a press conference in Caracas, the leader of the Alianza del Lápiz (Pencil Alliance) political movement, Antonio Ecarri, applauded the announcements made by the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, during the General Assembly of the Federal Government Council, in defense of Guayana Esequiba:
“We will never sell a state or a region of Venezuela to get to Miraflores, forget about that! Here is an independent, nationalist, constitutional and sovereign opposition,” said Ecarri.
Likewise, the representative of this opposition party sent a message to the Head of State to order a patrol in national waters given that the sovereign participated in the Consultative Referendum that took place on December 3 of this year: “The high commission is very good, the laws that have to be made in the National Assembly (AN), as well as the point of the base in Tumeremo, El Lápiz agrees (with these announcements).”
In his opinion, Antonio Ecarri stressed that the result of this mandate and the Consultative Referendum must be communicated to all companies and risk rating agencies in the world, especially those that have a contract with Guyana.
