TSJ gives constitutional strength to Economic Emergency Decree


The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, stressed that the decision of the Supreme Justice Court that confirms the validity of the economic emergency decree, gives juridic and constitutional strength to this legal instrument. He added that the Supreme Court dictates jurisprudence against the position taken by the National Assembly with an adeco (*)- bourgeois majority.
“Faced with a real economic emergency, the Supreme Court is dictating jurisprudence in the new circumstances of Venezuela, against the unfortunate statements of the adeco-bourgeois assembly, which has turned its back to the country”, expressed the Head of State in a contact with the “La Hojilla” (The Blade) program, broadcast by Venezolana de Television.
The President stressed that “this decision of the Supreme Justice Court places the point where it should be”, and thanked the judges of the highest court of the country “For continue guaranteeing and defending the peace, which is nothing but to defend the full compliance with the Constitution the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela “.
