COVID: Venezuela registers this Monday 641 new infections

This Monday the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodriguez, announced that in the last 24 hours were confirmed 641 new infections in the country (632 community cases and 9 imported cases coming from Mexico).

She made it known through her official account in the Twitter social network, where she also added that the state that registers more new community cases is Zulia (118), with active infections in 10 municipalities; it is followed by Miranda (100) and Táchira (87).

Likewise, Delcy Rodríguez added that unfortunately a total of 6 Venezuelans have died in the last hours because of the virus: A 74 years old woman and a 43 years old man from Trujillo, an 87 years old woman and a 4 months old girl from Yaracuy, a70 years old man from the Capital District, and an86 years old man from Mérida.

Moreover, the Executive Vice President of the Republic also added in her thread of tweets that 309 days after the pandemic in Venezuela, these are the general statistics: – Total infections: 120,444 – Patients recovered: 113,328 (94%) – Current active cases: 6,004 – Total deaths: 1,112

Finally, the high official of the Bolivarian Government indicated that, “with conscience and discipline, today we begin a new week of radical quarantine as established by the 7+7 method. Together with the President, Nicolás Maduro, we are working on strengthening the protocols and new strategies to guarantee the health of the Venezuelan people,” indicated Delcy Rodríguez on Twitter.
