Venezuela registers 106 confirmed cases of coronavirus

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, reported 15 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) on Wednesday, and there are already 106 infected in the country.

From Miraflores Palace in Caracas, Rodríguez explained that the five cases are registered in Miranda state, four in Aragua state; two are located in the Capital District; two in Zulia state, one in Bolívar state and one in the Los Roques Archipelago.

Out of the total number of positive cases, 69 of the cases are registered in the Capital Region, made up of Miranda (44), La Guaira (9) and the Capital District with 16 cases.

For their part, 12 cases are registered in Aragua, four in Lara and Los Roques, three in Barinas, two in Anzoátegui, Apure, Falcón and Zulia states, and one case in Cojedes, Bolívar, Portuguesa, Táchira, Guárico, Merida, Monagas and Nueva Esparta states.

She explained that, so far, 14,168,731 people have answered the health survey available on the www.patria.org.ve website. In this sense, she pointed out that the number of people to visit stands at 39,752.
