President Maduro rejected Luís Almagro’s vile attack of disowning the historical rights of Venezuelans

The attempt by Luís Almagro to disown the historical rights of all Venezuelans over Guayana Esequiba, was rejected this Thursday by the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, who stated that the statements issued by the secretary of the Organization of American States (OAS) are an aggression against the South American nation:

(It’s) Truly despicable this being; and on behalf of the whole Venezuela I absolutely reject the statements and aggression by Luis Almagro against the historical rights of Venezuela over Guayana Esequiba,” stated the Venezuelan head of state.

He emphasized: “The Guayana Esequiba is Venezuela, Luis Almagro. Even if you are in the payroll of ExxonMobil, you and your friends from the extreme right wing here in Venezuela who support you,” said the President, who recalled that Almagro “is the political godfather of that homeland-selling sector.”

I say it with all the letters (…) and Luis Almagro comes out to offend Venezuela with those insolent statements. I congratulate the Minister of Defense, Vladimir Padrino López and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), they quickly came out to denounce and reject this attempt to disown our historical rights,” he applauded the Bolivarian response.

The Venezuelan head of state criticized the statements issued this Friday: “They are infamous, by a totally despicable being. Luis Almagro, Secretary General of the very pernicious and perverse OAS (Organization of American States). Luis Almagro, (the) political godfather of the Unitary Platform and the Venezuelan extreme right wing, (he) is the political leader.”
