President Maduro installs National Conference for Dialogue, Peace and Coexistence

With the aim of forging ties of unity with all sectors of the country for the challenges and opportunities in the new stage of the Republic, the Venezuelan Head of State and Government, Nicolás Maduro Moros, led this Thursday the National Conference for Dialogue, the Peace and Coexistence in ratification of the Agreements in Barbados.

The meeting that took place in the Plaza Real Room of the Eurobuilding Hotel in Miranda state, convened deputies of the National Assembly (AN), among them representatives of the Permanent Commission of Internal Policy, Permanent Commission of Foreign Policy, Sovereignty and Integration and Special Commission for the Defense of the Territory of Guayana Esequiba and Territorial Sovereignty; as well as members of the Great Patriotic Pole (GPP) and opposition political parties.

Representing the economic sector, members of the Chambers of Industry and Associations participate; and representatives of the Cultural Movements from the cultural sector.

The conference is the product of the call made by the Head of State on October 18 during the conversation he held with the Dialogue Commission, headed by the deputy and president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, regarding dialogue and agreements established with a sector of the opposition in the city of Bridgetown, in Barbados.
