Day 991 | Fight against COVID-19: Venezuela registers 64 new infections in the last 24 hours

A total of 64 new COVID-19 infections were detected in the last 24 hours, of which 41 are community cases and 23 cases are imported, which brings the accumulated confirmed to 547,631 cases, with 1,061 active cases, while the figure of 540,742 recovered patients, thanks to the free treatments guaranteed by the Bolivarian Government.

This was announced this Thursday by the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, during the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through her account on the Twitter social network, @delcyrodriguezv.

She reported that the community cases are located in the states: Miranda (12), Caracas (10), Sucre (3), Bolívar (3) and Yaracuy (3), among others.

Miranda presents the highest number of infections in 6 of its 21 affected municipalities: Sucre (3), Los Salias (3), Páez (2), Baruta (2), among others.

The 25 imported cases come from: Dominican Republic (12), Panama (9),
