Cuba will be with Venezuela under any circumstances, as reiterated on Wednesday the Cuban Chancellor Bruno Rodriguez during the Political Council of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas (ALBA-TCP), which met in Caracas to discuss common strategies in the defense of the region.
The Chancellor also expressed, on behalf of the Cuban people, its strong solidarity with the Bolivarian Revolution which is facing the aggression of imperialism. “Our region is experiencing a rush of US imperialism and the national oligarchies”.
In this regard, he indicated that our peoples will resist the onslaught against our culture and will prevent the destruction of memory.
He recalled that, when it happened the coup d’ etat in 2002 in Venezuela, was not invoked the Democratic Charter, as intended to do the secretary of the Organization of American States (OAS), Luis Almagro, who violated the state of law of the country.
“The history of Latin America and the Caribbean is decided here in Venezuela,” said the Cuban diplomat.
