The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported this Wednesday that 164 people who were infected by Covid-19 are already fully recovered, equivalent to 44.7% of active cases in the country.
In statements held from Miraflores Palace, Rodríguez noted that, of the 164 recovered cases, 110 are in hospitals, 63 in Integral Diagnostic Centers (CDI), while 20 cases are being attended in private clinics, and with the unfortunate number of 10 deaths.
She also indicated that «the current condition of the 116 patients or people who are, but transmitting and contagious, represent a danger of inoculation and must maintain social isolation».
In this sense, she stressed to the Venezuelan people on the importance of continuing to use the face mask to be protected, as well as measures of personal hygiene and physical spacing, which can be the difference between life and death.
She also stressed that Venezuela has the lowest rate of confirmed cases per million inhabitants and «we must continue to be careful in developing measures to prevent the spread of Covid 19».
