COVID: Venezuela registers 80 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 80 cases of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours in Venezuela, two of which arrived from Turkey and Panama, bringing the confirmed cumulative total to 522,514. The community cases detected correspond to Caracas (29), Miranda (16), Lara (11), Anzoátegui (10), Falcón (5), La Guaira (4), Aragua (1), Amazonas (1) and Cojedes (1).

This was announced this Monday by the Vice President for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez during the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.

On day 778 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, no deceases were recorded, to maintain the total death toll to date of 5,709. The number of recovered patients is 515,728 and there are 1,077 current active cases.
