With 58.4% of the study carried out by the polling company Dataviva, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, advantages the other possible candidates of the Venezuelan opposition before current elections.
According to the analysis, the disqualified pre-candidate from the opposition, María Corina Machado, follows with 23.1%; meanwhile, the other candidates have percentages of less than 11%, which means that being a polarized scenario, the national president outperforms the other possible candidates.
In the same way, the survey shows that in the face of hypothetical internal elections of the opposition they do not have enough support from Venezuelans, because the results show that 9.8% would vote for sure, 10% «maybe it will», 25% affirm that it is «more of the same and it does not motivate them», and another 25% «would never support them».
Regarding political ideology, the study indicates that the ruling party is the main political identity in Venezuela, with a total of 41% of the population; continues with 7% of those who define themselves as opposition and 4% as independent pro-opposition, while 20% do not feel identified with any political initiative and 28% «do not know or do not answer», the last two responses together are the highest part of the measurement made.
