“Our map of action, work and daily effort that we make through the System of Missions and Great Missions, has as its center the human being, the community and the family”, highlighted the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, on the occasion of the recent 10th anniversary of the creation of the System of Missions and Great Missions, which has been key to developing the social agenda of the Revolution.
According to a publication on his social networks, the head of state explained: “It is the Bolivarian Socialism that we are building, the guarantee of equality, social happiness, well-being and peace.”
“Let’s unite around the union of all of Venezuela to move the country forward towards a new Social Welfare State”, recently announced the national president in the 12th edition of the “Con Maduro+” program, where he indicated that Venezuelans are in agreement on four major consensuses, which are:
– To recover the economy.
– The rejection of the unilateral coercive measures of the Government of the United States (USA).
– The need to preserve the peace to demand the cessation of criminal sanctions
– To establish the Welfare State that Commander Chávez built
The priority attention to millions of humble and vulnerable families was a decisive policy in the government of Commander Hugo Chávez, and which later, on August 7, 2013, was consolidated by President Nicolás Maduro Moros, in the Missions and Great Socialist Missions System.
Ten years after this qualitative leap in the protection of fundamental human rights, Venezuela is informing the world of the individual and collective development guarantees of millions, even in the face of a voracious imperialist policy of financial and commercial blockade.
More than 20 million people are served by the Patria System, and are included in the Hugo Chávez System of Missions and Great Socialist Missions, as an expression of the guarantee of fundamental rights.
At present time, there are the Great Missions such as: Great Mission Housing Venezuela, Great Mission A Toda Vida (Full Life) Venezuela, Great Mission Hogares de la Patria (Homes of the Homeland), accompanied by Mission Barrio Adentro, Mission Alimentation, the educational missions Robinson, Ribas and Sucre, Mission Barrio Adentro Sports and Mission Culture.
Other care missions for the integral well-being of Venezuelans include: Mission Negra Hipólita, Mission José Gregorio Hernández, Mision Amor Mayor (In a Greater Love), Sonrisa and Milagro. In attention to the city, communities and as a guarantee of peace, are promoted the Great Mission Barrio Nuevo Barrio Tricolor and the Peace Quadrants.
