The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and Commander-in-Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), Nicolás Maduro Moros, led a meeting with the Expanded Superior General Staff.
In this act, which takes place in the “Antonio José de Sucre” Hall, the Commanders of each Strategic Region of Integral Defense (REDI) and of the Operational Zones of Integral Defense (ZODI) were also present.
The Head of State was received by the Sectoral Vice President of Political Sovereignty, Security and Peace and Minister of People’s Power for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López; the Commander of the CEOFANB, Domingo Hernández Lárez.
Likewise was also present the Chief of Staff of the Command in Chief, José Ornelas Ferreira, and the General and Admiral officers, members of the Superior General Staff of the FANB.
Earlier, the Commander in Chief ordered the military corps to be on permanent alert since the guarantee of peace is deposited in the men and women who make up the FANB, at the same time that he ratified his confidence in them:
“Bolivarian National Armed Force! Guard up, on permanent alert, always remain vigilant, you have the duty and responsibility to guarantee the stability, territorial integrity and peace of our Republic. I trust you, men and women of Bolivarian principles,” he wrote in a post released through his official account on the X social network @NicolasMaduro.
