COVID: Venezuela registered 16 new cases n the last 24 hours

A total of 16 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the last 24 hours, all community transmission cases, located in Sucre (6), Miranda (5), Yaracuy (3) and La Guaira (2) states, to add a total of 550,657 confirmed cumulative cases to date.

This was announced this Wednesday by the Vice President of Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñañez during the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.

On day 1,025 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers 5,832 as the total number of deaths. The number of recovered patients is 543,654 and there are 1,171 current active cases.
