The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, said on Wednesday that those who incite an invasion against Venezuela should be treated as an enemy of the Homeland:
“We do not want any war, we want peace, but we are obliged to get prepared to defend our Homeland from any attempt of invasion by the enemies of our country, from those who want to steal our resources”, he said during his weekly program “Con el Mazo dando” (Hitting with the Hammer).
“Anyone who is calling today for an invasion, for planes to come, for satellites to be sent, for drones to be sent over our territory; in any event of a fact of that nature, must be treated in case of confrontation as an enemy of the Homeland, to be given exactly the treatment given to the enemies of the Homeland. Anyone one who understood this, understood this, we are not going to explain it any further!”, He stressed.
