Venezuelan government reiterated to the Vatican its willingness to political dialogue for peace


The Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, reported this Wednesday through his Twitter account on his meeting with the Vatican Secretary for Relations with the States, Monsignor Paul Richard Gallagher.
The senior official said that during the meeting he ratified the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to promote political dialogue in accordance with the peace of the nation.
The meeting was part of the bilateral meetings held by the Minister for Foreign Affairs with various authorities in Rome, Italy, on the occasion of his participation in the High Level Segment of the 41st session of the United Nation Organization for Food and Agriculture (FAO).
In recent days, Father Numa Molina delivered Pope Francis a letter explaining the effects of the economic and financial blockade imposed by the United States government against Venezuela.
