COVID: Venezuela registered 112 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 112 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the last 24 hours, of which 51 are community cases and 61 cases came from Panama (33), Spain (10), the Dominican Republic (8), Colombia (4), Türkiye (4) and Portugal (2), for a total of 547,049 cases to date.

This was announced this Monday by the sectoral vice president for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the customary daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.

Most of the community cases are located in the states: Caracas (14), Zulia (14), Miranda (4), Carabobo (4), Yaracuy (3), among others.

On day 983 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers 5,827 as the total number of deceases. The number of recovered patients is 540,293 and there are 929 current active cases.
