Around 1,800,000 people benefit from the delivery of the Batalla de Carabobo Hydrological Complex, which was launched by the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro:
“Starting up this Battle of Carabobo Hydrological Complex, in this entity, is a great emotion and being in the municipalities of Carabobo, a hot and historic land, where the Homeland was born, under the sword of the great Simón Bolívar, is to be celebrating, and I come to supervise the implementation of this hydrological complex, with a significant investment to improve the quality of the water that benefits the inhabitants of the Valencia, Naguanagua, Tocuyito and Libertador municipalities.»
The head of state thanked the important support of the president of the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF), Sergio Díaz-Granados, after managing to release the resources that were retained, allowing an investment to be made in this Battle of Carabobo Hydrological Complex:
“These resources were blocked from us by the CAF, the government of former Colombian president Iván Duque and Juan Guaidó, when he said he was president of Venezuela, they blocked resources for water and almost 600 million for electricity for Zulia state and the West of the country. and we could not buy spare parts, even though Venezuela has its rights for being a member of the CAF, and they also blocked them, until the unlocker arrived and unlocked everything, thank God almighty who is with us, because in difficult times God will provide, and did provide.”
Finally, the workers of the Carabobo Hydrological Complex thanked President Nicolás Maduro for the important benefit, whose complex consists of 23 hectares in a process of improvement and purification of this plant with quality water that optimizes the supply to about two million people.
“Constructing works like these is giving well-being and satisfaction to the people. We are touching his heart, the hearts of the people and we are lighting his flame of love for the Homeland and everything we do with love and energy,” highlighted the Venezuelan Dignitary.
