COVID: Venezuela registered 65 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 65 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the last 24 hours, of which 40 are community cases and 25 cases imported from Spain (8), Panama (7), Turkey (4), the Dominican Republic (3), Portugal (2) and Colombia (1), to sum 546,202 as the confirmed accumulated total of cases.

This was announced this Wednesday by the sectoral vice president for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the customary daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.

The community cases are located in the states Mérida (23), Caracas (11), Yaracuy (4), Miranda (2).

On day 969 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers 5,823 as the total number of deceases. The number of recovered patients is 539,839 and there are 540 current active cases.
