During a special interview conducted by the TeleSur TV station, the Vice President for Citizen Security, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, assured that the State security agencies are working to dismantle the terrorist plan that is in full execution against the country.
The Minister of People’s Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace also highlighted that the extreme right wing led by the disqualified María Corina Machado is involved in this plot, whose purpose was to generate chaos, destabilization and attack the country’s institutions and facilities.
“At this moment, María Corina Machado is speaking out about an operation she has in the United States, in which Leopoldo López, Julio Borges, Belen Salas, a.k.a. ‘La Niña’, Carlos Vecchio, Yorman Barillas, among others, are also involved,” said Cabello.
He added that the connections of this criminal organization come from Colombia: “These people believe that this operation would be very easy; however, finding these more than 400 weapons is a hard blow against this operation,” he said.
The minister was emphatic in pointing out that the State security agencies have managed to consolidate the nation’s peace by achieving optimal results in their different operations: “We can perceive the people is happy, and we have denounced this type of actions (by the extreme right wing),” he stressed.
Finally, Cabello warned that destabilizing actions against Venezuela are being planned from Ecuador: “They are waiting for Iván Simonovis in that nation to conspire against our country,” he concluded.
