The reopening of relations between Venezuela and Colombia will be a gradual process, where the fundamental thing will be to create the conditions so that both nations can win.
Thus was stated by the deputy of the National Assembly, Julio Chavez, on the “Punto de Encuentro” (Meeting Point) program broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, where he pointed out that the conditions for integration with the Republic of Colombia must be created.
He stressed that “the fundamental thing is peace, to create the conditions, it is a very positive step, generating all State policies, under a win-win scheme, is a process of recomposing a relationship that was under attack” by the imperial powers.
The parliamentarian acknowledged the diplomacy promoted by the National Government, an example of this was the letter from the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, “(it) has a sense of transcendence, whose recipient is humanity.”
