President Gustavo Petro receives Letters of Credence from Venezuelan Ambassador Félix Plasencia

The president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, received this Wednesday, the Letters of Credence of the ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Félix Plasencia, in the presidential house of the city of Bogotá.

After being elected national president of Colombia, Petro held a meeting with the Venezuelan plenipotentiary ambassador, actions that are part of the process of bilateral relations between both nations.

Plasencia was appointed by President Nicolás Maduro Moros, who on August 29 received the Credentials of the Colombian diplomatic representative, Armando Benedetti.

With this ceremony, the official protocols with which both governments reaffirm the brotherhood of the nations founded by the Liberator, Simón Bolívar, are completed.

At the official meeting in Casa de Nariño, was also present the Chancellor of Colombia, Álvaro Leyva, among other high authorities.
