El Aissami: While Chávez was struggling between life and death, Rafael Ramírez devoted himself to loot PDVSA

The sectoral vice-president of economy and Minister of Petroleum, Tareck El Aissami, from the Public Ministry revealed corruption plots in PDVSA, which directly involve Rafael Ramírez:

We have gone to the prosecution to denounce and record all the proofs and information and evidence that reveal one of the most serious corruption schemes that we have known in the oil industry. It is a mega robbery orchestrated directly by Rafael Ramírez, former minister of energy and oil. All these elements were designed from the perverse and corrupt mind of Rafael Ramírez”, said El Aissami.

Between 2017 and 2020, the Public Ministry made public the discovery of 28 corruption and money laundering schemes, which represent large economic losses for the country.

Likewise, the sectoral vice president for economy and Minister of Petroleum, Tareck El Aissami, affirmed: “while Commander Chávez was struggling between life and death, Rafael Ramírez devoted himself to loot PDVSA”

Consequently, the vice president asked the Public Ministry for the immediate arrest of Rafael Ramírez for these acts of corruption without precedent in the history of the oil industry.

Likewise, he requires the investigation and measures corresponding to Juan Andrés Wallis Brandt, in charge of the Atlantis Administrator company; Víctor Aular Blanco, former PDVSA official; Luis Alfonzo Oberto Anselmi and Ignacio Enrique Oberto Anselmi, both responsible for the funds abroad; Nervis Villalobos, former Vice Minister of Electric Power and, finally, Abraham Edgardo Ortega Morales, who is convicted of corruption in the United States, as detailed the minister.

Finally, he ratified his unwavering will to advance in the fight against corruption and lift the country’s oil industry.
