A total of 500 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours in Venezuela, of which two cases arrived from Panama (1) and Ecuador (1), bringing the confirmed cumulative total to 536,586 cases.
The cases detected today are located in the states: Miranda (306), Caracas (38), Aragua (31), Bolívar (25), Guárico (19), Zulia (14), Yaracuy (12), Amazonas (11), Táchira (8), Trujillo (5), Delta Amacuro (5), Barinas (4), Falcón (4), Carabobo (3), Anzoátegui (3), Portuguesa (3), Apure (3), La Guaira (2), Lara (1) and Sucre (1).
This was announced this Tuesday by the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, during the customary daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through her account on the Twitter social network, @delcyrodriguezv.
On day 870 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers 5,763 as the total number of deaths. The number of recovered patients is 525,725 and there are 5,098 current active cases.
