President Maduro denounced Venezuela is living a commercial naval blockade

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, denounced on Friday that the country is being victim of a commercial naval blockade imposed by the United States Government, and supported by the Venezuelan opposition:
“The world must know that we are being victims of the most ferocious economic war and a real air and naval commercial blockade”, he said during the launch of the Plan for Attention to the Victims of the Economic War, a program that will serve the most vulnerable Venezuelan families.
He pointed out that Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) paid directly for many medical treatments, and now thanks to the criminal blockade it can not pay any bill to help the patients:
“Many people need treatment, and the US blockade prevents it. Nowhere in the world is wanted now to accept payments and commitments from the Venezuelan State-owned company. Venezuela must know how much money has been stolen and blocked abroad, and the number of ships that bring medicines and supplies, which are standing outside the ports”, he said.
In that sense, he called on his Government Team to raise a more precise policy to assist the people who are the direct victims of the economic blockade and financial persecution:
“Nobody will be able to defeat Venezuela, they may create problems, wounds, pains, but they will not be able to defeat the birth of the new time that heads our Bolivarian Revolution”, he emphasized.
