The Minister for Oil, Tareck El Aissami, denounced this Sunday an attack against the Venezuelan gas system in the east of the country:
“These are the same terrorist groups as always, which have acted against the national interest to affect the lives of our people”, wrote El Aissami on his account on Twitter.
The minister qualified as vile this action against the Venezuelan gas pipeline system, and stressed that “it is part of the script of sabotage perpetrated by the enemies of peace”.
“Right now we are putting out the fire caused by this criminal action, to regularize the service of this infrastructure”, he stressed in a second message.
Finally, the minister reported that “together with the working class of PDVSA, FANB, technical personnel and firefighters”, they will immediately recover the gas pipeline and “will go after those directly responsible and those who planned it, for their capture and prosecution for these criminal acts”.
