COVID: Venezuela registers 38 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 38 COVID-19 cases were detected in the last 24 hours in Venezuela, bringing the confirmed cumulative total to 522,625 cases. The community cases detected correspond to states Barinas 19, Miranda 8, Monagas 3, Caracas 3, Trujillo 2, Táchira 1, Falcón 1 and Bolívar 1.

This was announced this Friday by the Vice President for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the customary daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.

On day 782 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, no deaths were recorded to maintain the total number of deceases to date of 5,709. The number of recovered patients is 515,880 and there are 1,036 current active cases.
