“This year we are going to two million barrels per day, come rain, thunder or shine. This year we (will) recover oil production hand in hand with the patriotic, revolutionary, Bolivarian and Chavista working class”, assured the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, leading a new Productive Wednesday journey, dedicated to the substitution of imports in the national industry.
Within the framework of this conference, held at the plant of the company Industria Venezolana Endógena de Valvulas, (Venezuelan Endogenous Valve Company – INVEVAL), located in Carrizal, Miranda state, the Head of State stressed that «this must be the year of inflection between the year of resistance and the year of growth of the entire economy”.
He also stated that the national government is also working to increase the production of oil and gas derivatives: «hand in hand with the patriotic, revolutionary, Bolivarian and Chavista working class.»
«What comes from here on is the greatness of the Homeland,» said the national president.
In relation to the increase in the production goal of the Venezuelan oil industry, he revealed that the outlined plan incorporates four work fronts at the national level: one for the west, another for Monagas and Anzoátegui states; the Orinoco Oil Strip and the fourth front linked to the refineries to reinforce the petrochemical sector.
He stressed that Venezuela is also advancing in the Socialist Guayana Plan, «a plan for a powerful, efficient, effective, productive industry that satisfies the internal needs for goods and services and generates wealth for the social security of the people.»
Industrial innovation of the country:
In this regard, he instructed to advance in the innovation of the industry to substitute imports and expand the productive capacities of the country.
In this sense, the head of state pointed out that the country must produce everything it needs: «all the industrial technology and to innovate, to advance in industrial innovation, so that Venezuela can go adapting.»
For this reason, he ordered the Sectoral Vice President for Economy, Tareck El Aissami and the Minister for Industries and National Production, José Gregorio Biomorgi, to prepare an immediate plan to increase the production of Venezuelan glass to 100% and replace all imported elements, to see In the next 60 days, «all the glass production furnaces for the national and international market» will be turned on.
Lastly, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that Venezuela only has one path: prosperity based on its own effort, on truth, on the discipline of workers’ power, on great alliances with the patriotic private sector.
