President Maduro denounced intention to sabotage academic schedule

The president of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, denounced on Monday the destabilizing plans of right wing sectors to prevent the normal development of the 2019-2020 academic schedule.
The Head of State explained that the plans of the right wing for October 21, 22, 23 and 24 sought to sabotage the educational process and “to set Venezuela on fire” with support from abroad.
“The stateless right wing has tried to sabotage the educational process of this 2019-2020 cycle; they have invested enough money from the bills that imperialism gives them. Imperialism gave them the order to set Venezuela on fire so Maduro would not depart (to the NAM summit)”, he added, while affirming that the country will persist a climate of peace.
Similarly, he recognized the awareness and commitment of the members of the Venezuelan teachers, as well as the Bolivarian Movement of Families, workers and cook staff, in addition to the students and teachers “for giving a hit” to these sectors that promoted the paralysis of the educational activities
“Maduro went there (to Azerbaijan), delivered the presidency of the NAM, and here I am, calm and victorious. Gringo empire, you have been defeated again”, he said in a joint radio and television broadcast.
The National President recalled that in Venezuela there are more than 10,000,000 students, of which 80 percent are part of the public system.
