Maduro arrived in Nicaragua to participate in inauguration of Daniel Ortega

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, arrived in Nicaragua to participate in the inauguration of Daniel Ortega and his Vice President, Rosario Murillo.

The Venezuelan head of state praised the spirit of solidarity and brotherhood that unites both peoples:

“We come with the most beautiful spirit of solidarity and brotherhood, full of Bolívar’s dreams and always feeling Commander Hugo Chávez present”, were the first words of the Venezuelan President, upon touching Nicaraguan land.

Maduro highlighted the anti-imperialist and heroic character of Nicaragua, in addition to expressing his deep admiration for the long history of struggle.

Venezuelan parliamentarians such as Roy Daza and Gladys Requena also attended the inauguration of Ortega and Murillo.
