The Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Felix Plascencia, described James Story’s stance on the results of the elections held in Barinas on January 9 as incoherent and disrespectful.
Plascencia ruled that the double agenda of calling for an electoral boycott and at the same time congratulating the holding of elections, is also «not very democratic»
Finally, the Venezuelan diplomat ruled that the electoral journey in Barinas has the same validity as those carried out in the rest of the country.
