“Venezuela today has the most powerful Judicial Power that has ever been in the republican history of the country. A Judiciary Power along the entire line, well constituted, structured”. Thus was emphasized by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, during the solemn session of the Opening of Judicial Activities of 2022 and presentation of the report corresponding to 2021.
From the Central Plaza of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), in Caracas, the National President highlighted the capacity for resistance and innovation that the Venezuelan people have had to face foreign situations and conspiracies:
“This year, the Homeland is winning, the Homeland is at peace, on its feet and more united than ever. There have been years of aggression against the republican institutions of Venezuela, of extremist actions against the Nation and we managed to build political stability and social peace”, he stated.
He assured that the fake news campaigns and invasion attempts seek to create panic in the country’s institutions “because they are aimed at the spirit and morals to destroy the national will and the political capacity of the State, to divide us and seek that everything and a country be surrender to the extreme right and US imperialism”.
He stressed that 2021 was a year of many learnings in real time “and if each one occupies the territory that corresponds to and fulfills his Homeland oath, then we can say that a country is capable of defending itself as Venezuela has done”.
Finally, the Head of State highlighted the institutional strength of Venezuela, while urging the institutions to provide responses “in real time, to obtain conclusions from each process, from each battle we wage.”
