The Chairwoman of the National Constituent Assembly, Delcy Rodríguez said on Wednesday that: «This election marks a Bolivarian renaissance,» noting also that the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro has once again defeated imperialism with the results obtained in the regional elections held last Sunday, July 15.
The results of the regional elections, held on Sunday, became an international benchmark for those nations that wish to fully exercise their own sovereignty, said Rodríguez, adding that: «The peoples of the world do know that can be travelled a different course than that traced by imperialism. »
Rodríguez, emphasized that Venezuelans demonstrated in those regional elections that they want to live in peace. «To the governors-elect, I tell you, Venezuelans have put their trust in you, now it’s about working for the development of each of the regions», said Rodríguez.
«Today is a day of celebration for this National Constituent Assembly, for the Homeland of Bolivar, for all the people, now it is your turn, Governor men and women, to work for the peace that these people ask, the Venezuelan was very clear, there are differences but we want to live in peace», she said.
