With more than 12,000 musicians, Venezuela seeks to break a new world record

12,067 musicians, members of the System of Orchestras of Venezuela, performed a masterful performance this Saturday, November 13, 2021.

Under the baton of Maestro Andrés David Ascanio Abreu, for 12 minutes they performed Tchaikovsky’s Slavonic March, with which the Orchestra System was evaluated to achieve the Guinness record, as the World’s Largest Orchestra.

The verdict will be known in approximately 10 days, on which would exceed the mark achieved by 8,097 Russian musicians in 2019, who presented a five-minute work.
